Hi everybody, so, as you all know today was the thriteenth day of my trip, and it all went rather well. I went to school, which was rather nice. People try to speak English to me, but today Teddy caught them and gave them a stern talking-to. I have finally been given homework, I was given a German textbook and have to do a chapter of that a week, to improve my vocab and grammer.
I have been invited to go to the movies with Teddy, Lorenz (those in my class may remember Lorenz), Christian and Corbi. I have also been invited to Patrick's party on saturday, as it is his birthday. On the topic of going out and doing things, apperently I am going to see THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO in july, which will be cool I guess.
I also watched THE PIRATES OF THE CARRIBIAN in German, with English subtitles. Then I watched V for VENDETTA on my Ipod.
Well, that's about it. Apart from I'd like to say "Happy birthday Aidan"!
Your host 'N' stuff

I'm you're feeling better about being there, Brendan, but I worry that you aren't interacting with your host family more. I sincerely urge you to start doing things with Andi, and to TALK auf Deutsch with the rest of the family. It cannot be fun for them to have this foreign lump in their house who does not engage. Go to karate with Andi! Go clubbing! You might have fun!! Stop being so isolated and insolated. I'm glad that you're socializing with Teddy and Corbi, etc., but I want you to have fun with people in your class as well. Is Anna's brother in your class?
BTW, I won't set you up to go to Granny until I correspond with Herr Schlerf.
