Well, it is another day in Germany, and not a bad one at that. School was interesting, on main lesson we're learning about the Greeks. More specifically, the battle of Thermopolaye (I'm aware of the fact that that is misspelled, don't blsme me, blsme the fool who gave it such a difficult name) of which I know a lot, due to my paper on the Spartans. From what I can glean from the lessons I know that if I could speak German fluently, I could teach it better that our teacher. Then I had social studies, and that class was an interview of me, in an attempt to learn about America from a Native. My classmates asked me questions and I answered to the best of my ability in German. I checked out the English section of the library (I know, I'm in Germany to learn German, but as English literature is pretty much my favorite thing, I could not resist the tremptation) and was impresser with it. It gad many excellent novels, among the 1984, by George Orwell, Hucklebury Finn, by Mark Twain, and many others. They also had Shakespeare's plays, and then some fun, but not so great books, such as Harry Potter, books 1-4, and the Shining, by Stephen King. I also was drawn to one of the books, Stupid White Men, by Micheal Moore, Solely because of it's title. It is rather interesting, however, it's not brilliant.
I have started to like Germany for being Germany, rather than hate in for not being Vermont, and that's good, I suppose. Although I think that that can be partially contributed to the fact that I've found other people who play Magic the Gathering. That is nice.
I also, started looking things up about the American public school system, just out of interest, and I will say that it is a rather depressing topipc. I have started doing some research and will write an essay and post it here, then my readers can correct it or comment or whatever.
Well, the pizza's done and I'm hungry,
So bye!
Brendan, the guy feeling slightly better but not so much.
