Today I went to Nurnberg and went shopping, but not the fun kind of shopping with books or magic cards, but womanly shopping. You see, Andi has gone for the week to some camp thing and Herr Schlerf was at work. So I went to every clothes store in Nurnberg, every jewelry store, masses of shoe stores, and, of course, many stores devoted to lotions and perfumes. This endless quest of pointless shopping drve me to the brink of insanity. Then Herr Schlerf, having finished work joined us and took me to a book store, where he baught me the Douglas Adam book THE LONG DARK TEA-TIME OF THE SOUL.
Well, that's about it... so bye.
Brendan, he who will never go shopping when the majority of the people he's with are women

Unfortunately Brendan, it sounds as though you have not inherited your father's shopping gene. What camp thing has Andi gone to? Are you planning to get together with Christoph or Jacob?
I saw Teddy today and it was delightful to have him back. I leave tomorrow so will be incommunicado basically, until the 20th.
Love,
Mom
